How I can help

Whatever you're going through, you don't have to face it alone. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly, be heard without judgement, and begin to find your way forward.

What brings people to counselling?

People come to counselling for many different reasons. There's no issue too big or too small. If something is affecting your wellbeing, your relationships or your sense of self, counselling can help.

Anxiety & stress

Anxiety can show up in many ways — constant worry, physical tension, panic, or a sense of dread that's hard to shake. Together we can explore what's driving your anxiety and develop ways to manage it so it no longer holds you back.

Low self-esteem & confidence

If you struggle to believe in yourself, feel worthy of good things, or find it hard to set boundaries, counselling can help you understand where these patterns come from and begin to build a kinder relationship with yourself.

Relationship difficulties

Whether it's conflict with a partner, family tensions, friendship difficulties or patterns that keep repeating, counselling can help you gain clarity, communicate more effectively and understand your own needs.

Life changes & transitions

Redundancy, divorce, bereavement, retirement, becoming a parent — even positive changes can feel destabilising. Counselling offers a space to process what's happening and find your footing again.

Menopause & emotional wellbeing

The emotional impact of menopause is often overlooked. Mood changes, anxiety, low confidence and a shifting sense of identity are all real and valid experiences. I offer a space where you can talk about all of it.

Chronic illness

Living with a long-term health condition can bring grief, frustration, fear and isolation. Counselling can help you process the emotional side of your experience and find ways to live as fully as possible.

Trauma & difficult relationships

Past trauma or the effects of difficult, controlling or abusive relationships can leave a lasting mark. I work sensitively and at your pace to help you feel safe, understood and able to move forward.

Supporting a child with additional needs

Parenting a child with additional needs, anxiety or EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance) can be exhausting and isolating. This is a space just for you — to be heard, supported and to focus on your own wellbeing.

My approach

I am an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches including person centred, psychodynamic, trauma informed practices and practical skills to support and help you navigate day to day.

I believe that the relationship between counsellor and client is at the heart of effective therapy. My aim is always to offer you a warm, genuine and non-judgemental space where you feel truly heard.

We will always work at a pace that feels right for you.
